About this item
- WHICH COLOR IS WHICH WEIGHT: Yellow 5 lb (2.3 kg), green 10 lb (4.5 kg), red 20 lb (9.1 kg), purple 30 lb (13.6 kg), black 40 lb (18.1 kg), each rated at 100% elongation, twice the tube's resting length; the number is printed on both tabs
- DO THE NUMBERS ADD UP: Tubes on one handle add up when they stretch the same length, so 10 + 20 = 30 lb (13.6 kg); 21 settings from 5 lb (2.3 kg) to 105 lb (47.6 kg) with all five tubes at 2x; the = mark at each tube's middle shows where to center it
- WHICH DOOR, AND WHERE TO STAND: Anchor with a smooth sleeve and a foam block for the hinge side of a solid door that opens away from you; on your side you can't see the hinges. Hands about 5 ft (1.5 m) away is 2x, about 7 ft (2.1 m) is 3x, the stop
- HOW THE HANDLES AND CLIPS ATTACH: Foam grips 5.5 in (14 cm) wide on a sleeve that turns, webbing stitched in a box-X to a steel D-ring, steel snap clips; one D-ring takes up to five clips; check every clip gate is closed; plus 2 padded ankle straps
- WILL A TUBE WEAR OUT, IS IT LATEX, IS IT LONG ENOUGH: A wear card for a 10-second check before each session, stop at 3x, single tubes sold by number; contains natural rubber latex; tubes 48 in (122 cm), 12 in (30 cm) extenders over 183 cm (6 ft)
From the brand

Center the =. Hold it even.
Evenhold began with one mark: two short lines printed at the exact middle of every tube. Center the = in the door anchor or under your shoes and both halves are the same length, so each hand holds the same number. The rest followed: five tubes from light to dark, each number measured at twice the tube's resting length and printed on both tabs, a pocket for every number, and a card that tells you when a tube is done.

Why these five colors?
They step from light to dark in even jumps, so the order reads in black and white and for color-blind eyes. The number is printed anyway.
Why 2x?
It sits in the middle of the working range, halfway to the 3x stop. A number without its stretch is half a number.
Why is every pound figure a tube's number?
So what you read on the page is what you find in your hand: 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, or all five together.

Same set. Three homes. Three loads.
Five tubes from 5 to 40 lb, each rated at 2x its resting length: a hallway door, a balcony, the floor between the sofa bed and the radiator.

Every number has its stretch.
We stretch each tube to twice its resting length (100% elongation) and print the pull there. Short of 2x you feel less, past it more. Stop at 3x.
Module 3 · Premium Full Image

Module 7 · Premium Q&A
Before you pull.
Why does every number say 'at 2x'?
A tube pulls harder the further you stretch it. We stretch each Evenhold tube to twice its resting length (100% elongation) and print the pull there. Short of 2x you feel less, past it more. Never stretch a tube past 3 times its resting length.
Can I tell the tubes apart without seeing color?
Yes. The number is printed on both faces of both tabs, the order is always light to dark (5, 10, 20, 30, 40), and heavier tubes are thicker.
Do the numbers add up when I clip tubes together?
Yes, when the tubes are on the same handle and stretch the same length: 10 + 20 = 30 lb, both at 2x. Clip tubes together and you have every 5 lb from 5 to 105 lb, all five tubes at 2x.
Which doors work with the anchor?
A solid hinged door that opens away from you. On your side you can't see the hinges; if you can, train from the other side. Slide the foam block behind the door on the hinge side, close and lock the door, test with a light pull, and pull only the way the door closes. Never a door handle, a sliding, glass or hollow door, or furniture.
I'm tall. Are the tubes long enough?
Each tube is 48 in (122 cm), 24 in (61 cm) each side of the =. Over 183 cm (6 ft), clip the 12 in (30 cm) extenders between tab and handle, so raises stay under 2x and the pull stays under the number. The plan is sized for 150 to 196 cm (4 ft 11 in to 6 ft 5 in).
Why no overhead presses?
An overhead press runs the tube up past your face, and for most heights it passes 3x. Every move in the plan keeps the line of pull below your shoulders.
Is it latex?
Yes, the tubes are natural rubber latex. Caution: This Product Contains Natural Rubber Latex Which May Cause Allergic Reactions. If anyone who will touch the set reacts to latex, please don't buy this one.
It smells of rubber. Is that normal?
Fresh latex smells for a few days. Air the tubes out of the case and wipe them with a damp cloth. Keep them out of the sun.
How do I know when to replace a tube?
Ten seconds before every session: bend each end where it meets its tabs, and the = middle. Whitening, cracks, a sticky feel or a nick: stop and replace that number. Single tubes are sold by number.
Can I get a second pair of handles?
Yes. Handles are sold as a pair, so two moves can stay set up.
