About this item
- Two ways to clip: the front ring gently turns a dog that pulls back toward you, the back ring is for relaxed walks, so one harness covers training days and easy days
- Shoulders stay free: the Y-shaped front sits on the breastbone, not across the shoulder joints, with a soft mesh-lined chest pad and four adjustment points for a snug, even fit
- Seen at dusk: reflective piping runs along every strap, and a padded top handle gives you a steady hold at curbs, in crowds or at the clinic door
- On in seconds: slip it over the head and click the two quick-release side buckles, no step-through, no paw lifting; machine washable on cold, air dry
- What you get: one harness and one 5 ft leash in the same color, five sizes from XS to XL by chest measurement, and a size chart on image 5 so you can measure before you order
From the brand

Dashwell started on a 6 a.m. walk
Every dog owner knows the walk that is mostly arm. We wanted gear that made the walk feel good for both ends of the leash: a clip at the front for the pulling days, a clip at the back for the easy ones, a shape that leaves shoulders free, and reflective piping for the early and the late walks. One harness, three colors, five sizes, and a leash that matches.

Why a Y-shaped front?
A strap straight across the chest sits over the shoulder joints and shortens the stride. The Y sits on the breastbone, so the front legs swing freely.
Which size for a growing puppy?
Measure today, choose the size whose range your dog is in now, and set the adjusters loose; the Puppy Set covers the first months, then Trail Set in whatever size the chart says.

One harness for every kind of walk
Dashwell Trail Set was built around one idea: the walk should feel good for both ends of the leash. The front ring turns a pull into a turn, the back ring is for easy days, the Y-front keeps shoulders free, and reflective piping brings you home at dusk. Each set includes a matching 5 ft leash.
Module 2 · Premium Three Images & Text

City mornings
Curbs, crossings and crowds. Clip to the front ring, keep the handle within reach, and the walk to the cafe stays calm.

Weekend trails
The padded handle helps over logs and rocks, the mesh pad breathes on the climb, and the back ring lets a good walker lead the way.

Off-season beaches
Sand, salt water and a full-speed run. Rinse, machine wash on cold, air dry, and it is ready for the next one.
Module 3 · Premium Image & Text

Why the clip is at the front
A leash on the back of a dog that pulls becomes a sled rope: the harder the dog leans, the better it pulls. A leash on the chest cannot be leaned into. When the dog surges, the ring turns the chest to the side and the dog comes back toward you.
- Start on the front ring for training walks
- Move to the back ring once the pulling fades
- Use both rings together with a double-ended leash if you like
- A harness changes how a pull lands; training does the rest
Module 4 · Premium Full Image

Built for the early and the late walk
Slim reflective piping runs along every strap, so a dog in the harness shows up in headlights from any side. The padded top handle sits over the shoulders: a steady hold at a crossing, a quick lift over a puddle, a calm grip when another dog passes.
Module 5 · Premium Four Images & Text

1. Over the head
Unbuckle both sides and slip the harness over the head, label at the chest.

2. Click the sides
Close the two quick-release buckles under the chest. No paw lifting.

3. Two-finger check
Two fingers should fit flat under each strap: snug, not tight.

4. Set once
Adjust the four points on the first walk; after that it goes on in seconds.

Module 7 · Premium Q&A
Before you order
Will the front clip stop my dog from pulling?
It changes what a pull does: instead of dragging you forward, it turns the dog toward you. The habit changes with practice, so give it a few outings; patient training does the rest.
Which size should I order?
Measure the widest part of the chest just behind the front legs and use the chart on image 5. Between sizes, choose the larger one; the four adjusters take up the slack.
Can my dog wear it in the car?
No. It is not a crash-tested car restraint. For rides use a crash-tested car harness or a crate, and clip Trail Set on when you arrive.
How do I wash it?
Close the buckles, machine wash on cold in a laundry bag, air dry. No bleach, no dryer.
Product description
Dashwell Trail Set is a no-pull harness and leash for everyday walks and training walks alike. The front chest ring is the training clip: when a dog surges forward, the leash turns the chest gently to the side and back toward you, so you steer instead of hauling. The back ring is the everyday clip for dogs that already walk well. Switch between them as your dog learns.
The Y-shaped front leaves the shoulders free to move, and the chest pad is lined with soft grey mesh that lets air through. Four adjustment points, two at the neck and two at the chest, give an even fit across deep-chested and barrel-chested dogs alike. Slim reflective piping runs along every strap, and a padded handle on the back gives you a steady hold at curbs, in crowds or at the clinic door.
Putting it on takes seconds: slip the harness over the head, click the two side buckles under the chest, check that two fingers fit under each strap. The matching 5 ft leash has a padded loop handle and a swivel snap hook. Both are machine washable on cold; air dry.
Five sizes by chest measurement, from XS (13 to 17 in) to XL (30 to 40 in). Measure the widest part of the chest just behind the front legs; between sizes, choose the larger one. Available in Mango, Lagoon and Blueberry.
Please note: a harness changes how a pull feels and where it lands, it does not replace training. The harness is not a car restraint.
Description · 1,397 of 2,000 charactersMaterials
Harness: 600D nylon webbing and shell, polyester air mesh lining, EVA foam padding, POM quick-release buckles, zinc alloy D-rings with matte black finish, reflective polyester piping. Leash: 600D nylon webbing, neoprene-padded handle, zinc alloy swivel snap hook.
Fit and use
Measure the widest part of the chest just behind the front legs and pick the size from the chart. Unbuckle both sides, slip the harness over the head with the label at the chest, click the two side buckles, then adjust the four points until two fingers fit under each strap. Clip the leash to the front ring for training walks and to the back ring for relaxed walks. Check the fit every few weeks on a growing dog.
Safety warning
Supervise your dog while wearing the harness. Check buckles, stitching and rings before each walk and stop using the set if any part is damaged. Not a car restraint; not for tie-out, towing or lifting a dog by the handle for more than a moment. Keep away from puppies as a chew toy.
