From the brand

Where the sun makes salt.
We named ALIKI (ah-lee-KEE) after the Greek word for a salt pan: a shallow pool by the sea where sun and wind take the water and leave the salt. A long hot day does the same to you; the white line on your cap is the proof. So we kept our answer as plain as the pan: sodium from sea salt and citrate, potassium and magnesium, and a label that shows where every milligram comes from. One stick, one bottle, the hot hours.

How much sodium do I need?
It depends on how much and how salty you sweat: sweat carries about 230 to 2,070 mg of sodium per liter (Baker, Sports Medicine, 2017). One stick has 450 mg. Start with one on a hot day, and if you watch your sodium, ask your doctor first.
Can I drink it every day?
On days you sweat, yes: one stick, or two on a long hot day, and never more than 3 in 24 hours. On a cool, quiet day, plain water is enough. Watching your sodium, pregnant, nursing, or taking medicines that affect potassium? Ask a healthcare professional first.

Sea salt, zero sugar, 5 calories.
Each stick holds 450 mg sodium, 300 mg potassium and 60 mg magnesium, with zero sugar and 5 calories. Tear it open into 500 ml of cold water and shake: a clear, grapefruit-flavored drink that tastes like a light citrus mineral water, made for trail days, long rides, dock days, saunas and summer commutes.
Module 2 · Premium Three Images & Text
One hot day, three moments.

9 am – before the trail
Mix a stick into your bottle while the shade is still long and the trail is still cool. 450 mg sodium, 300 mg potassium and 60 mg magnesium go with you, with zero sugar.

1 pm – the hot hours
The shortest shadows and the most sweat of the day. One stick in 500 ml of cold water helps replenish electrolytes lost in sweat, and with no added colors the drink stays clear.

6 pm – after the swim
Long shadows again and salt drying on your skin. On a long hot day, a second stick; never more than 3 in 24 hours. On a cool, quiet day, plain water is enough.

That white line is salt.
Sodium leads in sweat, so it leads here: 450 mg per stick, 300 mg from sea salt and 150 mg from sodium citrate, plus 300 mg potassium and 60 mg magnesium. Sweat sodium typically runs about 230–2,070 mg per liter (Baker, Sports Medicine, 2017). Our sea salt comes from Greek solar salt pans.
- Sodium 450 mg: 300 mg from sea salt + 150 mg from sodium citrate
- Potassium 300 mg: from potassium citrate
- Magnesium 60 mg: from magnesium citrate
- Chloride 460 mg: from the sea salt

Made for the hot hours, all year.
Heat is not only a July thing: a sauna in January, a long ride in May, a commute in August. On those days one stick in 500 ml of cold water helps replenish electrolytes lost in sweat. On a cool, quiet day, plain water is enough.
Module 5 · Premium Four Images & Text
From the box to the bottle.

1 Lift a stick
Open the tuck lid, or tear off the strip across the top for a dispenser with 30 sticks in one row. Take one stick for each bottle you fill.

2 Tear at the notch
Find the dashed line and the small white arrows near the top of the stick: they lead to the V notch. Hold the stick upright and tear straight across.

3 Pour into 500 ml
Pour the powder into 500 ml (16.9 fl oz) of cold water. It clouds for a moment as it mixes; with no added colors, the drink itself stays clear.

4 Shake and go
Cap the bottle and shake until no powder is left. Then it goes where you go: the trail, the ride, the dock, the sauna bench. Never more than 3 sticks in 24 hours.

Module 7 · Premium Q&A
Before your first stick.
How salty does it taste?
Like a light citrus mineral water with a clear hit of salt. Want it softer? Use up to 750 ml (25 fl oz) of water per stick.
Why is the drink clear? Any caffeine?
We add no colors: the pink stays on the stick and the bottle stays clear. And no caffeine.
Where does the sweetness come from?
Stevia leaf extract and monk fruit extract. Everyday has no sugar and no sucralose, and Unflavored has no sweetener at all.
How many sticks a day? Taking medication?
Hot day: 1 stick. Long hot day: 2. Never more than 3 in 24 hours. Cool day: just water. Grapefruit and some medicines don't mix: ours is a natural grapefruit flavor, not juice, but ask your pharmacist first. If a medicine affects your potassium, ask your doctor.
