Which setting should I start from?
Take the card out of the box: espresso 10 to 16, moka 18 to 22, pour-over 24 to 30, French press 32 to 40. Start in the middle of the range and move two clicks at a time.
How long does 20 g take?
About 45 seconds on a pour-over setting at a relaxed pace, a little longer for espresso. Light roasts are harder and take a few seconds more.
Does it really grind for espresso?
Yes, settings 10 to 16 are made for it. A hand grinder asks for a minute of turning per double shot; if you pull several shots a day, look at One Plus.
Does the setting drift?
The dial clicks into place and stays there. Write your number on the card, and if you lend the grinder to someone, you can come straight back to it.
